Self Evaluation

What is it?

TROPOS Success Systems is offering you a complimentary self-evaluation.  It consists of a series of statements that represents Best Practices in managing a business.

It's easy to do!

Print it out, get a pencil, and do it anywhere - the office, home, deck, boat, ...
But, we strongly advise not doing it while you're driving.

You simply read the statement and respond on a 1 to 5 scale with how much you agree or disagree with the statement.  When you're finished, follow the instructions for scoring and evaluation.

Sample Statements

We have a good understanding of what we want the business to be in the next 2 - 5 years.  Products, markets, organization, culture, relationships, competencies, etc.

Our employees behave and make decisions in accordance with our core values.

We understand our marketplace and its segments.

We have processes in place to translate business goals to management goals on at least a yearly basis.

Our employees have the confidence to make decisions to move the business forward.

Our managers and supervisors develop their subordinates.

Our key business processes have been reengineered or redesigned in the last five years.

Our business processes support our goals and strategies.

The policies we have in place to guide our employees support our goals and strategies.

The only real requirement is that you answer honestly.  If you don't answer honestly, it's not worth doing.

What do you get from it?

At the very least, if you only read it, you become aware of Best Practices in managing a business.  But there's so much more!

You get an excellent evaluation of your business.  You understand your strengths and weaknesses.  You know where to spend your time and money on improvement.

Then, if you follow through on those improvements, you'll move your business to higher levels of success

What's it cost?

First, let's look at a few alternatives -

1) You hire a consultant to evaluate your business.  The consultant interviews you and your staff asking the same types of questions as you get here.  They hand you a report resembling an encyclopedia.   You try to read it, but it's too long and boring and you shelve it.  Cost - depending on the size of your company and who you hired, anywhere from a few thousand dollars to well into six figures.

2) You don't do anything.  At best, you fail to reach higher levels of success.  At worse, you struggle to stay in business - maybe you win the struggle, maybe you don't.

So, is this "complimentary" Self Evaluation really free?  Well, yes and no.  Yes, in that it will cost you zero dollars.  No, in that we ask you to provide some information (see below) and that you also get a follow-up call from us.

So, which is the least of three evils - thousands of dollars, business failure, or a call from us (answer seriously).

How do you get it?

Send an email to info@tropos.biz.  Title it Self Evaluation Request.  Include your name, company, company address, position, and telephone number.

We'll call just to confirm your request, then email the Self Evaluation to you.  In one to two weeks, we'll call again to see how you've done.
